Your votes win MACPool £2000

Huge thanks Mari Coleman for suggesting MACPool and to everyone who voted for for us to receive money from the Bank of Scotland Community Fund. We’ve been awarded £2,000 as a direct result of our supporters making the effort to vote.

Communities across Scotland were asked to choose between four good causes in their locality to decide which would receive the biggest share of the available fund. MacPool secured the second highest number of votes in Argyll. We’ll soon start using the money to encourage more people to use the pool as part of their healthy lifestyle.

Bank of Scotland champions good causes across the country. This year 232 good causes were nominated, in 58 communities and more than 230,000 votes were cast in total.
