2014 is going to be a busy year at the pool. As well as our regular programme of classes and swimming lessons we have some special events planned. Places at Easter camp are selling fast and our kayak safety course is already full. Our first ‘adult and baby’ swimming sessions were a great success and we’ll be organising more. Keep watching for details of new classes and events which will help improve your swimming, your water skills and your health.
And we’re going to be busy behind the scenes too. Following on from our community meeting we’ve applied for Big Lottery Funding so we can conduct a feasibility study to see which ideas we could or should go ahead and implement. More news to follow.
We’ve already decided to refresh the toilet areas so you’ll see work happening on those over the coming months. The pool will close for a week in June so we can replace the sand filter (it makes sure our water is sparkling clean) and refresh the changing area.
