There’s more to MACPool than just swimming. It’s also the meeting place for the Mid Argyll Jog Scotland Group. Aimed at anyone who is interested in running, Jog Scotland sessions include a mixture of street running and sprint based exercises.

When the weather’s good the groups also ventures off-road. Each session lasts around one hour and costs £1, which helps cover the running costs of the group. So whatever your ability, why not try some running as a way to supplement your swimming?

People of all abilities are welcome to drop in and give the group a try on any of their evenings or look out for details of 10 week courses held throughout the year.
